CHICAGO (WLS) -- It is a busy weekend for high school graduations around the city and Mayor Rahm Emanuel attended three of them Saturday.
Emanuel was a guest speaker at the Mather High School commencement. The mayor told students they are the future of the city and their diversity is the face of Chicago.
He congratulated them on their achievements and noted they would not be there without the help of teachers, parents and others.
The mayor also attended ceremonies for Bowen High School and Muchin College Prep.
