Grant HS honors wrestler heading to Summer Olympics

FOX LAKE, Ill. (WLS) -- A suburban high school honors a graduate who is headed to the Olympic Games.

On Friday, Grant High School in Fox Lake held a pep rally for Daniel Dennis.

Dennis is a 2005 graduate of the school, where he was a standout wrestler.

Earlier this week, he won a freestyle match at the U.S. Olympic trials which put him on the 2016 U.S. team to compete for a medal in Rio de Janiero.
