Groupon offering credits for unredeemed vouchers

CHICAGO (WLS) -- If you have a Groupon you never redeemed, you may be eligible for additional credits.

Groupon will settle a class action lawsuit which argued that federal law prohibits vouchers from expiring.

If you purchased Groupons between November 2008 and December 1, 2011,.you can receive 130 percent of your unused Groupon's purchase price in the form of credits for the site.

You will need the barcode from the voucher you never used. Notices are being sent to Groupon customers.
