A new drug is offering promising results for people who suffer from congestive heart failure.

Doctors say PARADIGM-HF is a combination of two drugs that help the body's blood vessels and the heart function better.

During trials the drug reduced the risk of death and hospitalizations from heart failure by 20 percent.

Experts say more studies are needed, especially in African American patients.

The new drug isn't cheap either, costing as much as $7 a day.
