People who wear helmets are half as likely to suffer brain injuries, study says

If you're one of the millions of Americans who think it's okay to ride your bicycle without a helmet, there's a new study you'll want to hear about.

University of Arizona researchers found people who wear helmets were half as likely to suffer severe brain injuries in a crash.

Health officials want to get the word out because the majority of Americans still ride without helmets.
