This may be a little hard to believe, but a new study says too much sleep is bad for you. In fact, it may be as hazardous to your health as smoking and drinking alcohol.
Sleeping more than nine hours a night quadruples your risk of premature death when combined with other behaviors. Researchers determined that prolonged sleep, sitting a lot, and lack of exercise are a deadly trio.
The researchers examined data from more than 230,000 people taking part in Australia's largest study on health and aging.
