Intercontinental Hotel pipe bursts, floods stairwell

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Clean-up is underway after a pipe burst at the Hotel Intercontinental on Michigan Avenue, flooding a stairwell on Friday night.

According to a fire department spokesperson, the elevators also stopped working, but no one was trapped.

A spokesperson says there was considerable water damage.
