3 businesses robbed within 1 hour on Northwest side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three businesses were robbed at gunpoint within one hour on Thursday evening on Chicago's Northwest side.

The robberies took place on the 2700-block of West Montrose, the 5000-block of North Cicero and on the 5300-block of North Milwaukee and police say all three were robbed between approximately 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. on Thursday night.

In each robbery, a man walked into the business, displayed a chrome or silver-colored handgun and demanded money.
