CHICAGO (WLS) -- A serious hit-and-run accident on Lake Shore Drive near the Oak Street Curve injured several people shortly before midnight.

Police are looking for a grey or silver-colored Chevy Tahoe with front-end damage. They say the driver rear-ended a taxi, causing it to flip over. Then the Tahoe rear-ended a Jeep SUV. Both of those vehicles hit the concrete barrier in the northbound lanes.

The injuries do not appear life threatening.

According to investigators, the Tahoe was spotted driving erratically before it rear-ended the Flash taxi cab.

The two men in that cab were seriously hurt and were rushed to Northwestern Hospital. Two other people were hurt - though not critically - when the Tahoe rammed into the SUV, causing it too to crash into a concrete barrier then spin out.

The man and woman in the SUV are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital.

Police don't have a description of the driver who caused the accident.
