Lakeview Food Pantry buys property for new location

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Lakeview Food Pantry is getting a new home.

After renting space for 40 years, the pantry raised enough money to buy its own property on North Sheridan Road. It held a ground breaking ceremony at the new site Thursday.

It hopes to open at that location sometime next year.
