Customers file lawsuit against Lakeview restaurant after getting sick

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Customers who became sick after eating at a Lakeview restaurant are taking legal action.

The Cook County Health Department found that at least five people became sick last year after eating at Urban Esencia Kitchen in the 3300-block of North Broadway.

Three of the people who became sick have filed lawsuits.

A restaurant representative told ABC7 they are not aware of any lawsuits.
