Grevy's zebra born at Lincoln Park Zoo

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Lincoln Park Zoo's latest addition could help save an endangered species.

A new Grevy's zebra was born at the zoo over the weekend.

The zebra is native to eastern Africa and is endangered in the wild because of hunting and habitat loss.

Lincoln Park Zoo is part of a nationwide conservation effort to save the animals.
