South Side little league team leaves for tournament

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A baseball team from Chicago's South Side could soon make history.

Members of the Jackie Robinson West Little League team left Thursday for Indianapolis to play in the Great Lakes Regional Tournament.

If they win there, the players will go on to the Little League World Series. They could be the first all-African American team from Chicago to play in the series in decades.
