Woman shot in chest in Little Village

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An 18-year-old woman was shot in the chest Thursday in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood.

Police say the woman was standing on the sidewalk on the corner of 25th and Sawyer when a blue car drove up and someone inside fired shots around 6:30 p.m.

She's now in serious condition at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
