CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was stabbed Thursday morning at the Laramie Green Line station in Chicago's South Austin neighborhood, according to police.
Chicago police responded just before 8:15 a.m. to a report of a 33-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times on a train at the station, located on South Laramie Avenue and West Kinzie Street.
Police said the man got on the train after getting off work, and another man began to threaten him. The pair got into an argument and the 33-year-old was stabbed in the head and shoulder, according to police. The stabbing suspect then ran off the train.
The victim walked himself to an ambulance and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
Harlem-bound Green Line trains were running with delays after the incident, according to the CTA.
No one was in custody later Thursday.
