Man stabbed on State Street in Loop

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was stabbed Saturday night on a sidewalk in the Loop.

According to police, the victim was walking in the 200 block of South State Street near West Adams Street at approximately 10 p.m. when he was stabbed multiple times.

Police have released few details but have said the attacker was a man.

The victim was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition. No one is in custody. An investigation is underway.
