CHICAGO (WLS) -- A string of armed robberies have hit Chicago cellphone stores - the latest of which happened on Saturday.

Surveillance video shows a holdup at a Metro PCS store in the 2500-block of West North Avenue. At least two other stores along North Avenue have also been robbed.

Estaban Sevilla, the manager of a store that was robbed on Thursday, said the robber initially said he wanted to buy an iPhone.

"I reached up for the phone, he just brought out the gun. He said, 'Look why don't you just go back to the back.' I said, "Look, I'm not going to the back, why don't you just take the phone, just take whatever you want, there's the register and take the phone and get out of here,'" Sevilla said.

Sevilla said police believe the man has robbed five stores, and in one of those robberies gave a clerk his identification.
