Treat Mom with wine on Mother's Day

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Mother's Day is right around the corner, and that means you don't have much time to pick a great gift. While you may go with a card and flowers, wine can last much longer and be used to celebrate the holiday. This spring, wine connoisseurs are looking for other-than-Provencale-style Rose. Tempranillo Rosado, Cava Rosado (pink bubbly- big for Mother's day) and Malbec Rosado to speak to Roses. For whites, Sauvignon Blancs offer universal appeal. Darren McGraw, the owner of Ampersand Wine Bar, joined ABC 7 to give suggestions for picking the perfect wine for Mother's Day.
