myBeachCast App updates Great Lakes conditions

CHICAGO -- Beach conditions in the area can now be checked on an app created by the Great Lakes Commission.

The app myBeachCast is available on glin.net/beachcast for Android phones.

The app works for beaches in the eight Great Lake states of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York. The app tells beach goers if the beach is open or closed, as well as temperature, visibility and wind speed.
