NASCAR legend Richard Petty surprises New Lenox veteran

NEW LENOX, Ill. (WLS) -- NASCAR legend Richard Petty helped surprise an Army veteran in the suburbs.

He drove up in a 2014 Ford Fusion that was then given to vet Raymond Goss and his family.

The presentation was made in the parking lot of a Jewel-Osco in New Lenox. The family will also get free groceries for a year.

Eckrich and Operation Inspiration helped make all this happen.
