SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) -- Target is opening a new store in suburban Skokie in fall 2017.

The retail company announced Thursday a new 33,000 square foot store will be located on Dempster Street and Bronx Avenue, adjacent to the CTA Yellow Line, also known as the Skokie Swift.

The store will be "flexible-format" - meaning it's smaller than its typical stores - and will include fresh groceries, including Kosher items, beauty products and baby care items among other products. The store will also have a pharmacy.
