CHICAGO (WLS) -- A University of Chicago Medicine staffer was robbed while walking near the campus in the Hyde Park neighborhood, according to a university security alert issued Thursday.
The employee was walking off campus at about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday near East 56th Street and South Kimbark Avenue when they were approached from behind by two people, one of whom had a gun. The offenders demanded the person's property and ran away with their bag.
The victim was not injured and denied medical attention, according to the alert.
