Dashcam video shows Ga. officer dragged by car

BROOKHAVEN, Ga. (WLS) -- A traffic stop nearly turned deadly for an Atlanta area cop after he was dragged by a car and it was caught on police dash cam.

The officer says he hung on because he could not safely let go, so he kept his feet pumping and eventually picked them up and balled up his body while pleading with the driver to stop.

Only when the officer said his life was in danger did the driver finally pull over.
