17-year-old killed, five wounded in Austin shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are searching for gunmen who allegedly opened fire on a group of teens and young adults outside a home in the city's Austin neighborhood just after midnight Sunday.

Police said at least two people began firing into the group near Ohio and Lavergne, hitting six people. A 17-year-old boy was killed.

The other victims are two girls, 14 and 17, and three young women, who are 19 to 22 years old. They're all expected to recover.
