2 robberies reported in 3 days on Sox-35th Red Line platform

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are warning South Side CTA riders are two armed robberies were reported on the platform at the Red Line stop at 35th Street in Bridgeport.

The robberies occurred Monday around 1:30 p.m. and Friday around 7:10 a.m.

Police say the robber in the incidents was described as being 17-20 years old, 5'6"-5'8 and between 150-200 lbs. Police did not specify if the same person was suspected in both robberies.

There were similar robberies in the same area back in September.
