15-year-old boy charged in fatal shooting of 18-year-old boy in Gresham

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 15-year-old boy was charged in the shooting death of another teen in Chicago's Gresham neighborhood.

Bernard Pippen, 18, was shot in the neck in the 9600-block of South Green Street around 7 p.m. on Saturday.

The Cook County medical examiner's office said Pippen, of the 11000-block of South State Street, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 15-year-old boy was charged with first-degree murder.

The suspect's name has not been released because he is a juvenile. He is due in bond court on Monday.
