Girl, 14, accidentally shot in Cragin, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police said a 14-year-old girl walked into a Northwest Side hospital with a gunshot wound Tuesday night.

Authorities said she was accidentally shot on Sunday afternoon at a park on West Fullerton Avenue in Chicago's Cragin neighborhood.

Officers said the group was playing with the gun and it accidentally went off, hitting the girl in the knee.

The girl is in good condition.
