CHICAGO (WLS) -- About 1,600 people were without power overnight in several high-rise buildings near Chicago's lakefront.
The affected area stretched from Michigan Avenue to Lake Shore Drive and Wacker Drive to Monroe Street.
ComEd said damaged power lines may have led to the outage, which ended around 3:30 a.m. when power was restored.
