CHICAGO (WLS) -- Authorities met a United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Chicago at O'Hare International Airport Tuesday morning following a security concern.
No one was injured and the flight landed without incident.
United Airlines released a statement: Law enforcement officials met United flight 955 upon arrival at Chicago O'Hare on Tuesday morning. Authorities cleared the flight and passengers exited the plane as usual. We are working with law enforcement in their review.
In a separate incident also occurring Tuesday morning, all United Airlines flights across the country were placed on a ground stop from 8 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. CT. United officials would only say the ground stop was to "ensure proper dispatching information."
The issue was resolved and most flights took off shortly thereafter, officials said.
