Woman touched inappropriately on CTA Blue Line train in the Loop, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are warning CTA passengers of a criminal sexual abuse incident that was reported on a Blue Line train in the Loop.

Police say a 22-year-old female victim was inappropriately touched by a man seated next to her on a southbound train around 6:15 p.m. June 15 in the 100-block of W. Congress.

After the incident, the victim moved away and got off the train at the LaSalle station, police said. The offender then allegedly followed her off the train and up the escalator before running back down and boarding a different southbound train.

The offender is described as a Hispanic male between 45-55 years old around 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9. Police say he has a light complexion and a bald head.
