CHICAGO RIDGE, Ill. (WLS) -- Eyewitness News obtained 911 calls made by frightened shoppers inside the Chicago Ridge Mall during a brawl last weekend, including a mother trying to take cover with her child.

"I just seen everybody running and I'm locked in the bathroom I hear everybody say there's shooting I'm so nervous I have my little daughter here I'm so scared I don't know what to do ohh," said the 911 caller.

The fight shut the mall down Saturday night. Some shoppers thought they heard gunfire, but Chicago Ridge police determined that the noise came from a mall worker who banged on a metal pot to break up the crowd.
