11 cannabis plants found in North Side yard, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police made a major pot bust in the city's North Side while searching for a burglar, officials said.

Police say they found 11 cannabis plants in a yard in the 3000-block of North Kimball around 8:25 p.m. Saturday.

Gilberto Leon, 60, was arrested and charged with one felony count of cannabis production.

No other details have been released.
