Chicago teen charged in connection with deadly shooting of 11-year-old nephew

Eruel Wilford, 19

The Chicago man suspected of killing his 11-year-old nephew faced a judge Saturday.

Eurel Wilford, 19, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and unlawful use of a weapon.

Relatives said Antwone Price, 11, was accidentally shot and killed as he handed a gun to his uncle.

Police said Antwone Price, 11, found a gun outside Wednesday night and brought it into his house in the 7400-block of South St. Lawrence Avenue. They said it went off as the boy handed it to Wilford, who they think owns the gun.

Price was wounded in the stomach and died at the hospital a short time later, police said.
