Boy, 4, critically hurt after falling out of 6th floor window

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A child is in critical condition after he fell out of window in the West Woodlawn neighborhood Wednesday night.

Chicago police said the 4-year-old boy fell out of a sixth story window in the 6500-block of South King Drive around 8:30 p.m.

He was rushed to Comer Children's Hospital in critical condition.

Police said that the circumstances surrounding the fall are not known at this time.
