Chicago city sticker grace period in effect for drivers

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A lot of drivers in Chicago may have looked at their cars today and realized their city sticker has expired - but don't worry just yet.

There is a two-week grace period that runs through July 15. During that time, drivers will not be ticketed.

The city clerk says you can purchase a sticker online using E-Z Buy as late as Monday July 7, and you will still receive it on time.
