WASHINGTON D.C. -- A Chicago TSA agent was honored in Washington, D.C., Wednesday for rescuing a woman who fell onto the CTA blue line tracks in April.
The Department of Homeland Security gave Eddie Palacios the Secretary's Award for Valor.
Palacios jumped onto the tracks at the Chicago Avenue station. He alerted an approaching blue line train to stop.
The Pilsen resident says he saw someone in need and wanted to help.
