CHICAGO (WLS) -- Archbishop Blase Cupich held his first all-school Mass on Friday at the new Pope Francis Global Academy.
This academy was formed by merging four Catholic schools on Chicago's North West Side.
It is the first academy in the city to be named after the Pope.
Cupich told students they were put together as a new school to help each other.
After the mass Friday Cupich met with 8th grade students.
