GARY, Ind. (WLS) -- Alyssa Barrett, 17, is charged in connection with the murder of her mother, DeCarol Deloney-Cain, whose body was found inside the trunk of her car in Gary, Ind.
Deloney-Cain, 54, of Crown Point, Ind., was reported missing when she failed to show up for her job as a flight attendant at United Airlines. Her body was found on July 7, but wasn't identified until July 9.
Barrett's boyfriend, Damarius Rashard McGriggs, 18, was charged in the murder earlier this month.
Prosecutors argued that Barrett was pregnant, and Deloney-Cain wanted her to have an abortion.
