The suspect was driving a tan-colored sedan near West Argyle Street and North Kenneth Avenue around 4 p.m. Thursday, when police said he tried talking to a 12-year-old boy and offered him candy.

The boy declined and ran away.

Police are looking for a man in his late 60s with a pasty white complexion, a white mustache and red discoloration on his neck. They said he spoke broken English and was wearing a brown jacket and black skull cap.

The vehicle was described as an older model, four-door, tan-colored sedan with black tires.
