BELLE ROSE, La. (WLS) -- Flooding in Belle Rose, La., caused about a dozen caskets to float up from their gravesites.
Loved ones of those buried rushed to the cemetery and prevented them from floating away using sandbags to weigh them down. Some chose to move the caskets to higher ground.
Parts of the parish, located about 50 miles south of Baton Rouge, got nearly 10 inches of rain.
