CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three in 10 teenagers are sexually active, 18 percent of teens binge drink and that same percentage has seriously considered suicide. These are some of the choices young people face each day.
Helping them make informed decisions about their health and well-being is the Peer Health Exchange.
As the name implies, it uses a peer-to-peer model: college students educate thousands of high schoolers.
Peer Health Exchange is marking ten years in Chicago.
Our guests are Danya Rosen, executive director of Peer Health Exchange Chicago and Symphany Jackson, a high school student who's part of the program.
