CHICAGO (WLS) -- Dressing in layers helps combat the cold and nobody knows that better than Lincoln Park Zoo's snow leopard.
Taza is an 18-month-old male who spends even the coldest of days lounging and sleeping comfortably despite the freezing temperatures.
Zookeepers say snow leopards like Taza have layered fur that includes an undercoat close to the skin and an outside layer of hair to keep moisture and wind at bay, nature's equivalent of three sweatshirts and a parka.
