Evanston ranked among best cities for education by Movoto

EVANSTON, Ill. (WLS) -- A Chicago suburb is one of the best in the country for education, according to a new survey by the Movoto real estate blog.

North suburban Evanston came in no. 7 on the list. Newton, Massachusetts came in no. 1, followed by Plymouth, Minn., and Ellicott City, Md.

The rankings are based on factors including student-teacher ratio, money spent per student and high school graduation rate.
