CHICAGO (WLS) -- Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich will appeal his latest sentence, according to paperwork filed two weeks after a judge resentenced him to his original prison term.
Blagojevich is currently serving a 14-year prison sentence on corruption charges.
Earlier this month, a judge refused to shorten that sentence, though several of the convictions were dropped.
Blagojevich's lawyer filed the notice of appeal on his behalf Tuesday morning.
