Man, 73, killed after truck strikes utility pole in Aurora

AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- Rodger Lamber, of Sugar Grove, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Aurora, police said.

The pickup truck was traveling southbound on Densmore Road south of Hankes Road and left the roadway, striking a utility pole around 5:15 p.m. Friday, officials said. Lamber was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and officials are investigating whether a medical event was involved in the crash, police said.
