Blue Ribbon Walk in Oak Brook supports local officers

OAK BROOK, Ill. (WLS) -- About 100 people took part in the Blue Ribbon Walk in suburban Oak Brook Sunday in another show of support for local police officers.

They marched through the snow down Kingery Highway, holding flags and a sign with a bible verse which read, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God."

A similar blue ribbon march was held Saturday in Chicago's Mount Greenwood neighborhood.
