Breast cancer survivors celebrate ECIER Jubilation
MERRILLVILLE, Ind. (WLS) -- October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so the ECIER Foundation is celebrating with survivors in a night they will never forget. ECIER's Jubilation is coming up on Friday, Oct. 30.
The night begins with a reception at the Gamba Ristorante in Merrillville, Ind. From there, the survivors will be chauffeured via a limousine to various locations for an exclusive dinner experience. Breast cancer survivors will share their stories at each private dinner.
After the meal, all the survivors will return to Gamba Ristorante to receive a special gift. Contributions from the Jubilation will be donated to the Methodist Hospital Foundation, so uninsured women unable to pay can receive mammograms.
Founder and Chairman of ECIER Chareice White and Jubilation Chairperson Dr. Deborah McCullough, visited ABC7 Eyewitness News to give a sneak preview of the upcoming event.
