CPD hosts coat and food drive for families in need

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Police Department is helping some families stay warm during this wintry season.

Police officers hosted a coat and food drive at the National Guard Armory on the South Side.

People who brought items to donate got into armory to watch a range of performances.
