Tuskegee Airmen
A Tuskegee celebration will be held Aug. 27 at the Gary-Chicago Airport in Gary, Ind.

The Chicago chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen is celebrating its 40th anniversary, and the 75th anniversary of the organization that would become the Tuskegee Airmen.

This courageous group fought racism and bigotry to earn their place among the heroes of World War II as pilots. There are few of these original members left and we wanted to salute them on this historic anniversary and get their insight and wisdom.
