Britt McHenry returning to ESPN following suspension over controversial remarks

ESPN's Britt McHenry is returning to the sports network this weekend after being suspended when a controversial video of her berating a tow company employee went viral.

Britt McHenry is returning to ESPN.



According to Sports Illustrated, the Washington D.C.-based ESPN reporter will be back on camera this weekend. McHenry had been suspended from the network after a controversial video of her berating a tow truck employee went viral.

"I'm in the news sweetheart. I will (expletive) sue this place," McHenry says in the clip. The reporter also commented on the appearance of the employee working at the tow yard.



"Maybe if I was missing some teeth they would hire me huh? McHenry said. "Lose some weight baby girl."



After video of the encounter went viral, McHenry offered an apology on Twitter.



ESPN suspended McHenry for one week in wake of the video.
